If you are leaving the Armed Forces, you may be looking for a new job. Whether it is a complete career change or a small job to supplement your pension, there are lots of forces-friendly employers out there.
When seeking employment, you may like to know whether an organisation has signed the Armed Forces Covenant. A full list of businesses that have signed the Covenant can be found on the national Covenant website.
The Career Transition Partnership (CTP) can help you to find new employment when leaving the Forces and it is advisable to contact them as soon as you have made the decision to sign off. As a Veteran, you can access CTP for up to two years after leaving the service.
If you are currently unemployed and looking for work, you can sign on at your local Job Centre Plus. You can also ask to speak to the Armed Forces Champion who is specifically trained to support the Armed Forces Community.
