Embarking on a new career after leaving the military can require additional study and qualifications. There are a wide range of options for further study in Northamptonshire.
Local Universities and Colleges
The University of Northampton are a key partner in the Northamptonshire Armed Forces Covenant and provide excellent support to all those from the service community.
Northampton College is based in Northampton and they offer courses from beginners through to degree level for all age groups.
Tresham College is based in Corby, Kettering, and Wellingborough. It offers a wide range of courses at all levels.
Moulton College is based in Moulton, Higham Ferrers and Daventry. It specialises in unique courses for agriculture, manual trades, and rural studies.
Other Learning Opportunities
The Northamptonshire Adult Learning programme offers a huge range of courses from essential practical skills to languages to new hobbies. The Multiply programme is an offshoot of Adult Learning and supports adults to improve their numeracy skills.
The RBL’s Lifeworks scheme supports military spouses and partners into getting the jobs that they want.
The Poppy Factory can support with CV writing and training opportunities.
