Armed Forces Community Information Day

West Northamptonshire Council have teamed up with the Defence Medical Welfare Service and the University Hospitals of Northampton to put on an Armed Forces Community Information Day.
The event is open to everyone, but is particularly aimed at serving personnel (regular or reserves), those that have previously served, and their family members.
Throughout the day you can expect:
– Information stalls hosted by local Armed Forces charities, partners and support services, including the likes of SSAFA, the RBL and Combat Stress
– Guest talks throughout the day including a talk from Northamptonshire Walks and the Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association
– Guidance for businesses on how to sign the Armed Forces Covenant and details on how to progress through the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme
– Some fun activities such as a tombola and bake off fundraising event!
