Cheltenham Road
Cheltenham Road is a newly built housing development in Corby, specifically designed to support the Armed Forces Community.
The development comprises 18 homes which are available to members of the Armed Forces Community who have a housing need. The homes on the site are made up of the following:
- 2 x fully adapted, one-bedroom bungalows that are suitable for a household member who is dependent on a wheelchair
- 2 x two-bedroom bungalows that has level bathing
- 2 x one bedroom ground floor flats
- 2 x one bedroom first floor flats
- 8 x two-bedroom houses
- 2 x three-bedroom houses
All of the properties have off-road parking, level bathing or shopwers over baths. The houses also have an additional WC on the ground floor.
This is the first project of its kind in Northamptonshire and has been developed to address the housing needs of households under the Armed Forces Covenant and the Keyways Housing Allocation Scheme in North Northamptonshire.
To apply, applicants must first complete a housing application form online with Keyways at www.keyways.org.uk. Should applicants require any assistance completing the form or require the form in an alternative format, this can be requested by calling 0300 126 3000. If accepted onto Keyways as having a housing need, you will need to bid on the property that you are eligible for once the homes are advertised on Keyways.
Properties are shortly due to be advertised for a third and final round before going out to the general market.
